Dental recall reminders and how they work

Dental recall reminders and how they work
March 10, 2021TWBridgeNHS dentistry6

When you come the the Practcie for a check up you will be told at the end of the appointment when you should book in again with us.

If you like you can do it straight away or alternatively you can wait until nearer your due time and then book in. It is up to you.

We do offer a free reminder service that relies on your contact details being kept up to date. This service is very useful to the majority but it does not work for everyone and so should be viewed as a useful extra as opposed to the main trigger to booking your next appointment with us.

We would suggest making a note of your recall time frame when you leave your next dental appointment so that then you don’t miss out in the future. Not receiving a recall reminder from the Practice is not a valid reason to be reinstated if you end up marked as inactive on our systems.

Will patience still be called for checkups in the future, worried in case I lose you as my dentist. I am OK at the moment though.

Hi Marilyn, we have started to book patients in for their routine care. Please call the practice to make a booking. We do offer a recall service but that is an extra and should not be relied upon as a prompt to come back in. Hope this helps. The Bridge Team

Hi, I was told to re-register on your site as a lapsed patient however I can’t find anything on your website to allow me to do this. Please can you provide a link or some assistance. Thank you.
