The COVID-19 pandemic has created challenges for us all in the way we live our lives and how we interact with others both socially and professionally.
Dentistry has felt the impact and whilst we as a Practice continue to try and put our best foot forward, we are not able to operate in the same way that we once did.
We have adapted our already comprehensive cross infection procedures following the latest advice for our governing bodies and the NHS. These procedures are updated as and when required.
We continue to be open and seeing patients for urgent and routine dental care with a number of caveats outlined below.
We now have to work differently in order to be safe
Making a booking
Please call the Practice to make a booking. DONT JUST TURN UP.
We need to triage (review) all patient calls to make sure we correctly allocated one of our clinics to you.
At the moment we are prioritising those with an urgent need to be seen and those who fit into a number of vulnerable groups and it may take some time for us to catch up with all our regular attenders.
If you have any questions about this please contact reception who can help.
Visiting the Practice
Access to the Practice is through the back door only which is locked at all times. To gain access please ring the bell and wait to be let in.
It is possible there make be a slight delay at this point as we try and manage social distancing within the reception area.
We are sorry if this happens to you.
When you come in please remember the following:
Wear a face mask at all times (except when in the clinician asks you to remove it!)
Maintain social distancing where possible
Follow the instructions regarding hand and personal hygiene
The toilets are currently not in use to Patients.
Please complete all forms that you are asked to in advance
Please come alone unless you need a chaperon in which case please bring only them. Family members without an appointment will not be allowed to wait in the Practice.
Please also note that the clinicians will be wearing different PPE appropriate for a treatment they are providing you. This is to keep us all safe.
It is also worth noting that there are some treatments we will not be able to provide immediately and that most treatment will need to be booked at another time.
If you have any questions about any of the above please do get in touch with our reception team using info@bridgedetalowcester.co.uk
